I knew I could do, and I knew he couldn't do it as quickly as me. He was about 20 years younger than me, but he was an old man IYSWIM. He was more interested in keeping the ball in the centre and not cranking over beyond 35degrees. Spent too long looking at the instrumants and not enough time looking at the course. rather like police They're fucking crap at driving on the road too unless they're chasing some fucker. A pal of mine is ex-plod with all his time on the Traffic Div in Manchester. I can't bear to sit in a car when he's driving. I'm constantly saying "You CAN go at 30mph y'know" or summat similar.
