Nice one - only got 3 bottles of the last cheapy Laithwaites left so
    perfect timing.

Don't think too long - they've only got a limited number.

All the other discounted introductory cases I've had have been far from
    shite, so it's unlikely.

See replies above. I know my market.

I'm currently drinking a red from the last case from the same outfit. The
link was posted on here too.

It's a Pinotage Shiraz from an estate in South Africa that I have never
heard of. Bottled in Durham, 14% ABV and quite pleasant. It's certainly
nicer than the "3 for a tenner" Kumala stuff from Asda & Tesco.

    I'm currently on
    http://www.sundaytimeswineclub.co.uk/article.aspx?product_code=60867
which worked out to about ?2.70 in the last Laithwaites case. Jolly
    nice it is too.

we're not considered the right demographic for a Co-op.

I used one when living in Cardiff and I agree that their wine buyers seem
to be pretty reliable. Fortunately, there was a really good butcher and a
greengrocer in the same street as the Co-op seems pricey for food.

M&S occasionally has some good bin-end offers.
