There's a handy little site which may be of use to some of you.

It's a (free) list of petrol stations that are downloaded to various
GPS units as POI's with the price of the petrol/diesel next to them
(with a marker showing if the fuel is more/less expensive than the
national average). The prices are updated daily, apparently.

The site's in French, but is easy enough to navigate. A free account is
needed, but I've not been spammed (as yet). It's at: www.gpscarbu.com

Simon's Observation: Petrol in Holland is outrageously expensive with

It's <shock> cheaper in Britain (even allowing for currency madness).

It was a new experience for me to be trying to run the tank down as
low as possible because it was cheaper to fill up back in the UK.

Under Burnt's mighty management leadership we managed to need fuel the
    moment we got to Holland.

That's why we went a hundred miles off course?

I don't have that problem either, someone else pays - which is just as
    well at 20mpg
