Today I took delivery of some new tyres for my CD90.

2 tyres, with tubes, delivered to my door for $66.

They're advertising on page 138 of the current Just Bikes mag. They
also do a few dirt-bike tyres, chains, and a couple of road tyre sizes
up to 140/70-17. The brand of the ones I've got is "Fei Chi", and
    they're the old-fashioned "rib" pattern.[1]

It'll be a few months before I have the bike ready for rego, but I'm
sure they'll be a bit grippier than the 30+ year old rubber that it
    currently has fitted.

Frig. I paid a lot more than that for my last pair of bicycle tyres.

That's about what I paid for the last pair of tyres for the Z50.
Oh, the pair I got were Bridgestones, with a really nice modern
"road-race" pattern, sent my mail from UK.

Of course, to be fair, I have already worn one of them out... damned
    soft compound race tyres! :)

    regards,

Just don't use them in the rain. I owe my first "off" on my Honda
CB200 in 1986 to a Cheng Shin bar tread front tyre and a wet road.
Put Pirelli Mandrakes front and rear on it and never had another
    problem wet or dry.

Yeah, but you lads paid extra for new-fangled features like "grip" and
"roadholding". These tyres would be at home in the Grand Old Days of
motorcycling, where "longevity" was the best you could hope for! ;-)

I think you should leave the franger jokes to Clem.

O.k. here is a couple of pics of mine, the camera has been kind to them and
made the paint look shinier than it actually is.
The bars on the CD are off a CL90 that was the doner of engine, wheels and
seat to the "S" ,the CD also donated it's exhaust to the S too.
I still have the CL's frame and forks.
I have the original CD's bars but it did not have it's throttle cable slider
or cable stop, so I just fitted the CL bars to it to get it going.
If anybody out there has an undamaged set of S90 bars I would be interested.
Sorry about the photo quality as the the camera battery went flat after the
second shot, if you want some more, let me know.
    FOG.

They're certainly in much better condition at present than either my
    CD90 or Lemmiwinks' S90!

I'm not in a hurry, I just need to have my CD90/125 ready for
    Wintersun next year. ;-)

Oh no, please tell me you're not doing to your S90 what Dr
    Blacksliminator did to his CX500?!

Errk; am I the only one here feeling like he's watching old-people flirting?
People showing eachother photos of their Honda 90s in public is just sorta'
wrong. I understand that it goes on but it just should be kept in private
    that's all!
