Have become the benefactor of a Kwak GT 550 'C' Reg - 86. Which company can
    offer cheap insurance
for low annual mileage - maybe 1500 miles. Bike locked in Garage, so TPO
will be fine, as will high excess.

    Suggestions please ?

    Cheers

At that age, it'd come under "Classic" insurance, so that'd be as cheap as
    chips from most insco's

    Ebike,

    http://www.ebikeinsurance.co.uk/

Two old Honda CX500s.3rd party fire and theft.24 breakdown
recovery.Full legal cover. No claims protection.£112 all inc for both
bikes. Also they give you 1 years no claims for every 8 months of the
    policy.

Breakdown got there in 40 mins when used.

Got my car with them now,

    http://www.ecarinsurance.co.uk/

    Local broker renewal £180.

    Ecar £107.00.Legal protection,no claims protection,24 hour breakdown
    recovery,European cover.

Note:They are cheaper because,"You" do the work on the web site so be
honest because as we all should know any dishonesty when filling in
any forms whether paper or electronic when it comes to insurance you
are,"NOT" insured as the'y screw you if and when you claim.

Phoning them was OK till they got popular but most things are there on
the site(FAQS) for you and email is better if you have any problems.

    HTH :)

    PS
They also do a PAYG system for people who may not use their bikes all
year round e.g policy to suit.

You can do an online quote with ebikeinsurance.co.uk. They do classic
insurance. When you've got that quote give Carole Nash a call (0800
    298 5500) for good measure.

Auntie Carole doesn't do quotes online but seem to be well worth a
    call

If you want a few more quotes you could go to somewhere like
confused.com and you will get a quote from three other companies.
