Cheap GSXR anyone? $1000

    1985 Suzuki GSXR750. Motor fully rebuilt, new gears/bearings in
    gearbox 20000kms ago. Brake pads replaced 1000kms before stored.
    Megacycle exhaust system. Been dropped off stand only. Cosmetically
    fair/poor condition. Needs new tyres for RWC. Seat needs recovering.
    Ideal Streetfighter or restore. Selling for friend without computor.

    what are the opinions on this bike? looks pretty impressive. i don't
    know much about oldie bikes, but do they require alot of attention?

    thanks. i've always liked the older gsxr's stylings. which model was the
    one potrayed in the old michael douglas' rain maker(?) movie?

    I've got one, an 86 1100.
    The biggest problem is the electrics on old Suzukis, the donk is bulletproof but the
    electrics are about as reliable as a Ducati (not very)
    Parts are available if you can afford them and they are a fun bike to ride.
