cheap cars

    My oldies just came back from NZ and brought a paper back with them. I don't
    have time to go into all the details but one deal that stood out was a 1995
    S Class Merc for NZ$25k (about AU$20k) . **** that's cheap. There were heaps
    more just like it. A quick look on the web has a couple here for around the
    $40-55k mark. What are we doing wrong?

    no compliancing.. you can get a jap import and drive it off the boat and
    down to the local rta..

    GST, now they cant afford to buy even used mercs, i bet a HQ Kingy goes for
    about 3-5k its about the sorta cars they can afford..
