and I will think you will find that the majority opinion around here is
to simply ignore these muppets. The minority opinion is however still
approximately equally divided as to whether it should be salt or sugar
on the popcorn. Myself I fall into the sugar camp. Nothing better than
    Butterkist imho.

    I much prefer salted.

The sugary stuff makes one's fingers sticky.

Yes and I like sweet sticky dates too.

I do like me toffee on the hard side though.

And nuggit I like hard nuggit. I don't like soft nuggit at all, there
is something fundamentally wrong with soft nuggit both as a concept and
as a thing. I am not sure if it is an abomination on not but I think
something should be done to stop it. I wouldn't turn any down if it was
offered mind, I don't not like it that much that I would turn down an
offer of a bit but I do definitely prefer it hard.

I don't have tits but I sympathise with your view.

Of course just because I haven't got tits doesn't mean I haven't got my
feminine side. Of course I have, it is just that I express it quite as
    physically as others.

I think you will find that I wrote "nuggit."

Ho yuss, cunts of the first order.

Assuming we are talking the Medjool type, so do I. And figs. Dried or
    fresh. *Lovely*
Ah, now there we must differ again. I don't like food (apart from shellish)
that requires a hammer. Fudge, OTOH.
Nuggit is dull, unless it comes from that french place and has loads of nuts
in it. I'd rather eat Panforte OTW.

Is that not how it's pronounced? I can't be arsed to google since SWMBO has
found a malt that's she's really rather partial too and we are both sinking
into an advanced state of mellowness.

I've always pronounced it "Noo-gahhh" 'cause I woz brung up proper, like
    :)

Both The Wizened One and Not-actually-that-old-Bloke hark back to a time
    when these things were otherwise.

Similarly, it was always "Nessles" rather than "Ness-lay" even back when
    I were a yoof.

I thought it was just a variety, like Granny Smiths. And then there was
that night in 1992 with my then girlfriend and a jar of honey....
