It's my fault, or rather it's my wife's fault.

Last night she saw a chap on telly who looked like Charlie so I asked if he
was still alive. After a quick Google I found that he was and proceeded to
look for him on Youtube etc. so that my daughter could see who he was.

Wonder what time he popped 'em?

Funniest thing he's ever done.

 

Just looked like it. His material died decades ago.

He was lucky that usenet didn't exist when he was popular.

 

Norm's great. He's one of my favourite old time actors. And he's still
alive.

 

Had the pleasure of meeting Charlie Drake whilst he was resting in Eyam
with his very good friends at the cafe. Charming, patient and
unassuming gentleman in real life.
