A week last Saturday a member of the Northants & Milton Keynes Honda
Owners Club was taken out by a blind **** at a crossroads. Because of
his injuries, they thought he'd broken his hip and leg in several
places, the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended and
flew him to Walgrave Hospital for treatment.

By way of a thank you, we have decided to hold a fundraising event for
the air ambulance on Bank Holiday Monday 28th August at The 10
O'Clock, Main Street, Little Harrowden, Wellingborough.

    Full details here: http://www.northants.hoc.org.uk/charity.htm

You are all invited to join us for the FREE barbecue and help raise
    money for this worthy charity.

    Thanks

Hope he gets out of Walsgrave intact. Not many do.

Sounds ok, even if I just take it in on the way North.
Am heading over for EOSM then remaining for the following week/end to
generally swan around and put that RD back into one piece.

He's now home with a metal pin in his femur, luckily that was all that
was broken. I was expecting him to be ankle to hip in plaster s=caste,
but all he's got is some plasters! The bruising is amazing.

There are some people that it's worth missing!
Happily the old fucker has admitted full liability, which should speed
    up the insurance process...........................................

This sounds too good to be true. I get the sneaking feeling that you
might be there at some point but you're not letting on in case you put
    people off going.
    No worries.
