Before I dive in and start removing the damaged one on the Bird are
there any "whatever you do make sure...." or "Before you start...."
statements I should be aware of?

    TIA

Make sure you put all the bits you remove into a small container, off
the floor and away from where you're standing.

There's nothing more annoying than kicking a bolt across the garage
floor and spending an hour trying to find it.

Ah, you know me too well. Well it turns out that it was the easiest
spannering I've ever attempted so I feel a tad foolish for posting the
    question in the first place.

Despite this success I'll still be going to Lozzo with the Snottoiler
    and heated grips.

  7. Be aware, Lozzo don't know everything about snotoilers, or art for that
    matter.

Are you trying to get me to say that the Greeks have only one word for
    art and design again?

Let me put it this way. A Scottoiler is like a piece of modern art, and
as such it is so hideous that it should be hidden away right out of
    sight.

    That do ya?

  11. No. Really it doesn't.

I understand completely your perception of it but see it different. The
fact it is there should not be disavowed and once you accept this simple
truth it is but a small step to including it as a part of the whole
    visual element thing.

Put simply; a motorcycle, by definition, should assault all the senses
but not necessarily at the same time.

It is like living on a diet of brown rice, onions and lentils, it might
be good for you but it ain't food.
