I used the Burn tool in Photoshop to increase the contrast of the fractures, in the absence of a decent scan.
Lump? Eee.. a lump would be nice. My mum broke her collarbone xx years ago and it now turns out the "discomfort" is floating bits of bone.. I knew she should have gone to hospital at the time. She hasn't got a lump, though, just a gap.
