Telepathy. That and something not often experienced nowadays, it's
    called conversation.

  9. I like it not to be raining when I set off, coz for instance I don't like
being piss wet through at the start of the day at work.
On the way home I'm not bothered.
I got caught in the worst flash flood/downpour ever seen in this part of
W/Yorks on my way home I was the wetest I'd ever been on a bike, piss funny
    :O).
My c/t/rusty 79 Gs550 didn't miss a beat, despite being up to the engine in
    water at times.
Anyhoo, What's wrong with fitting a Scotoiler [1] to my 1200 Bandit?

[1] already have one, bought new ages ago never used was destined for the
    GS.

Yes, my cornering technique was rather good, then.

Yerbut, in fairness, Trumpet later acknowledged they'd got a duff batch
    of Regina chains in.

Both t'other chains lasted more than 12k *without* a Scottoiler.

And, as an aside, the chain on the -12R (whicjh I /think/ was Regina but
won't swear to it) was still almost as new at 12,000 miles, 4,500 of
those under the abuse of 180+ rear-wheel horsies in the hands of a ham-
    fisted **** like me.
    :)

That /did/ have a Snottoiler fitted after about 2.5k miles, mind.
