Chain alignment...

    Just scanning ebay I found this:

    It's not something I'd thought about recently (given that I'd been
    riding shaft drive bikes for the past three or so years) but it seems
    like a good idea.

    However given that some garages (Morrison's petrol station for one) are
    selling these things for about 4 quid I think I'll be 'investigating'
    hopefully it will be more convenient than fucking about with lengths of
    wood, pieces of string etc. etc.

    That looks exactly the same as the one we use. It's a great little
    tool and works a treat - just put it against the sprocket and watch
    the dot move along the chain.

    The hard part is getting the chuffing wheel lined up properly!
