cg125[1] getting stretch excessively

dear ukrm
new triple S HD chain at 18,000 and JT sprockets (front and rear). Kept
well lubed regularly with DX11, not overtightened leaving approx 1 3/4
cm play throughout the chain. I expected it to stretch a little to begin
with but in just over 2000 miles I've got to the end of the thread on
the tension adjustment bolts (when I acquired the machine at 17,600
miles the previous chain and sprockets appeared to be the originals). I
am about to go and take a link out but am a little paranoid something
might be going wrong to cause this. Lets be honest 11.something horses
pulling at a 'HD' chain for a couple of thousand miles shouldn't cause
this much stretch??

Also, is anyone else's clutch cable outer (its not just I'm a muppet
who's got it done up too tight) so short that when turning left
approaching full lock the cable gets so tight it causes the clutch to slip?
