Anyone know what the going rate for a CG 125 is ?seen one with about 400
miles on the clock, pristine, etc etc .... I want it for the other half to
get through the CBT on, then flog it on after she's passed or given up !! I
hear they hold their value well.

    Cheers

  2. Anything from 3000 quid to a grand. How old, condition, etc etc....

Personally, I'd remove two zeros and twenty pounds.

Thanks for the reply ....... it has about 400 miles on the clock and is
    pristine....
New I think it was about £2350, its still in warranty so less than £2000,
but I don't reckon he'd take less than £1000 for it....

  9. If its a 2004 (front disc), I think £1000 is a good price (for you).

As for them holding value, I expect to sell my '97 example for the same
price as I paid for it (but I've given it a new clutch, tyre, chain,
sprockets etc and other little parts however I've put a fair few miles on).

  10. A grand is about right - they were being discounted to 1500 quid or so.

  11. Got a mate who has a pristine CG125 who's selling it, mail me at brc at ukrm
dot net if you're interested and I'll give her a shout to see if she's still
    got it.

Umm. Things are very slow at the moment. You could offer £800 and see if
    they nibble?
