A little more mundane, I'm afraid. Telecommunications Managers
    Association.

Aye. A company I used to work for showed their wares at their
exhibition. That's all I've ever had to do with them.

I attended for years and years. At the time I was running LG Electronics
and the used to wheel me over to make speeches. Very often I didn't know
what I was talking about (now there's and invite) until the day before.
Parking is a nightmare, hotels are very expensive. The women are very
    loose. The beer is watered.

  12. They won't send me anywhere ;o(

Senior bods have all just got back from 3GSM at Cannes. They tried to
make out it was boring, and cold, and dull, and freezing, and tedious,
and really rather chilly, but 4 days in France has to be better than 4
    days in the office, surely?

And it's not as if it was warm here...

But the weather was lovely, warm enough to eat outside at lunchtime.
Restaurants were a bit busy though.

Umm... I didn't get any really good freebies this year. That better?
