CCM R30

What's the UKRM's opinion?
My uncle's seen some going cheap on eBay and he's always liked them.
He only wants a fun bike as he races with me in Enduro's.

How much do they go for? Biketrader seems to say about £3k for an 03.

Expensive for what they are; hit and miss quality control;
under-powered; painted, pseudo-motard

I'm not surprised as CCM don't exist anymore. There are rumours that the
original family have bought the company, but that's not much good as far
as warranty etc. stuff is concerned

However, as all the CCMs are bitsa bikes (Acerbis plastics, Suzuki/Rotax
engines, can't remember who made the wheels, but you get the idea)
getting spares etc. isn't a problem

Well, his only problem is his Enduro bike. He has a CCM 604e!
Kick-start only! He loosed 10 minutes at the start.
This year, he's going orange.

 

And the new motocrosser looks shite!

Swat he thought, but the £2k price for a new one is tempting him.
