CBX 250

    Hello Everyone

    I am new to the motorcycle world after passing my learners and getting
    myself a 85 cbx 250 a month or 2 ago. I live in Canberra and am just
    after a second hand factory book for this bike. I know a little about
    cars and am just after a maintenance guide so I can look after it. Also
    any web sites or any other info about the bike would be greatly
    appreciated. Catch ya later

    Do you live down South? I'm sure I've seen an L-plated CBX at the
    turn off the Monaro onto Johnson drive a couple of times.

    Yeah, the first RFVC-headed one from the same year, I think.

    They're good little bikes. If you don't need to perform
    surgery, you could also try the Haynes motorcycle basics
    manual, which covers the basics for a generic bike of
    that era ... looks pretty good to me ...

    had one for 4 years - an 87 model..

    BEST bike in the world for squeezing down alleyways and can even split
    between cars when the cars are touching.

    great fuel efficiency, little wheelies are surprisingly easy due to
    the very-light weight and bikini fairing.

    i can't find anything bad to say about the CBX at all, except maybe
    stick to the 250 cos i was EMBARASSED to ride a stone-age silver
    CBX750 during my last service. the thing looked like it needed to be
    crank-started!
