My ZX-6R is 3 next month and has 28k on the clock. AND 24k of those were on its side -- AndrewR, D.Bot (Celeritas) Kawasaki ZX-6R J1 BOTAFOT#2,ITJWTFO#6,UKRMRM#1/13a,MCT#1,DFV#2,SKoGA#0 (and KotL) BotToS#5,SBS#25,IbW#34, TEAR#3 (and KotL), DS#5, Keeper of the TFSTR# The speccy Geordie twat.
I had a GSX myself a few years back. Personally I would avoid it - they are very budget bikes which the years have not been kind to at all. You will soon be bored with it and there are *far* better bikes on the market which you will be far happier with. Also when it comes to selling it they are difficult to shift - people just dont want them.
Whinging Courier said.... My Honda CB250RS clocked over 166,000 miles before the engine went bang, and that was all my fault. I stuck a 30 quid replacement engine from a 1980 model in and that sounds like it should be good for at least another 100,000. -- Lozzo ZZR1100D, GPZ500S, CB250RS x3 BOTAFOT#57/70a, BOTAFOF#57, two#49, MIB#22, TCP#7, BONY#9, ANORAK#9, DIAABTCOD#14, UKRMT5BB, IBW#013, MIRTTH#15a/16, BotToS#8, GP#2, SBS#10, SH#3, DFV#14, KoBV#3. GSX600F. Lacks the speed of the CBR - you can go for miles on a tankful. CBR600F. Lacks the range of the GSX - you can go four miles on a tankful.
