Is it just me or does everyone talk to thier bike?

The wife has caught me a few times now mumbing away whilst working on the
bike, I know I must be getting bad because she bought two cups of tea out to
the garage... because she thought I had a friend in there with me :-() alas
this was not the case, it was just me and highly polished Suzie.

If she's like me, she is secretly bonding with it - I got so protective
of our Suzie-babeh, if there was an oil spill it was like she was
bleeding. I think if she'd 'mumbed' back at me I'd start calling the men
    in white coats tho. ;-)

LOL. During the bygone era of twin headlights, I noticed one day my bike
needed cleaning, of course I didn't clean it and must admit I felt a
twinge of guilt. Then one day it started raining while she was parked up
out the front of my house. The rain running down and dripping off the
headlights, it looked like she was crying...

Certainly not the latter. I'm not one to anthropomorphise.

I got caught out for having an entry in my mobile phone book for "Sue's
    Ass".

She insisted on phoning it before believing me that it was Suzuki
    Breakdown Assistance.

Thank God I've got Alis marked as Ali..

Yeah the wife tends to laugh out loud... just before she tells my daughters
to look at the idiot in the garden talking to that bloody bike again!

Mind you they are more sympathetic saying "ah bless him, he should really
    get out more"
