Cats don't like snow

  1. Just had to buy a bag of kitty litter. You could see the relief on the
    creature's face...

While it's true that this isn't the first snow we've had this year,
two of them have only had one previous winter and the other two are
less than a year old - they all loved it from the first time they were
    out in it.

My 4 she cats took one look from the kitchen door and scuttled back in, the
big ginger tom though is rolling around playing in it like a kitten.

Our two dogs are loving all 4cm of it. Well they were before it nearly all
    melted this morning.

It's funny as **** watching the Boxer run around with his whole face working
    like a bulldozer.

#2 cat just went out and did a dump in the 2" of snow in the garden, and
then went on to biuld his own snowman as he covered it up.

I am reminded of the old gag about the woman who rings the vet for
advice. She has two dachshunds, and the bitch has come into season. The
    dog won't leave her alone.

"No problem" says the vet, "put the bitch upstairs and the dog
    downstairs".

    "Will that work?"

"You ever seen a dachshund with a hard-on trying to get up stairs?"

It's the frozen sarf innit? I can't remember the last time we had a decent
amount of snow. Years with none at all, then a sprinkling, that's all we
seem to get oop 'ere in t' tropical norf.

We've had a few flurries/flurry's (it's been that long I've forgotten how to
spell it) today, but the sun defeated them and there's less snow around
tonight than there was this morning.

  11. One of ours loves it. I spent 1/2 an hour playing snowballs with her.
She especially loved leaping into the air and clapping her paws
together on the snowball and making it burst.

The other outdoor cat (two little ones haven't ventured outside yet)
hates it. And (I suspect) is sneaking in to use the little cats litter
    tray..
