Oh, yes! I've just had my first work paper memorandum in absolutely
ages. It was from "Deakin On-Line"!!!

    Cheers

Many moons ago i unfortunately had one.net for my dialup internet.
I had no problems connecting, however a month and a half later i hadn't recieved any sign of a bill.
at 2 months i asked them for a bill. They said they'd fix it up, i said fine, at 3 months i hadn't got a thing
and i started pondering wtf. I then called them again, stated what was happening, verified my address
and that i wanted a paper copy of my bill, not a email copy (i had never gotten one of those). At 4 months
i hadn't gotten a bill, called them up and asked them what the hell were they doing, didn't they want my
money? a week later i got a letter of demand. I called the customer service monkey's again and made
them go through every detail on my account and re-enter *EVERYTHING* in.

As it turns out my details had gone into the accounts system but hadn't gone across successfully to the
billing dept, so they couldnt actually send me out a bill. shortly thereafter i recieved a bill for 4 months usage.
A month later as i had started getting the shits with them they sold my account to dingoblue, went bankrupt
and i automagically had a new isp.... That took ages to set me up..... Before AGl decided it was too much of
a bad business direction and nixed it.

I had them too (for a brief unhappy time).
Their slogan was "You'll tell your friends about One.Tel" and they were
right; I told everyone who'd listen!!

respond to my posts. Later, when I discovered Deja-News I realised that
none of my posts had ever gotten past their local server!!)
