  3. Well - the original cats were probably tabbies (or spotted tabbies) of
some sort. Most of the modern breeds (with few exceptions) are all
natural variations caused by genetic drift or mutation. The differences
may have been exaggerated by later breeding though.

A good example is the Siamese - the (original) coat colouring arose
naturally then later on people bred other point colours (tabby-points,
    lilac-points etc).

Another good example is the Manx or Devon & Cornish Rex cats - all
    arose through separate mutations.

  5. How do you classify dangerous , do you apply the same definition
accross all breeds and types of animal

Is a dog that mauls a cat or intruder dangerous or just protecting its
pack (owner) would you class a domestic cat as dangerous if it mauls a
bird or is it natural and nature taking its course
not one i would like to sit in judgement off

As for cats shitting in your garden it is a nuisance especially if you
have children who play in the garden , the bigger problem is when they
start digging up seedlings and plants , one of my old neighbours used
to grow his own veg in an allotment and he used to hate cats because of
the damage they caused to his plants .

In the end he used to spray relgex onto old tennis balls and canes and
leave them lying around and reckoned that used to work

    Darsy's for life, IMHO.

  12. There is a difference between "legal definition" and reality.
What are you on about? I snipped what was extraneous to the point, not
    to change the meaning.

If you see these alternatives as mutually exclusive then I'm wasting
    my time.

I did think about sneakily editing Wikipedia but figured some dullard
would just revert the edit before Champ read it.

  16. Make your mind up - it's either over-educated or uneducated. So which
    one is it?
Like QED, RIP, addendum, bona fide etc etc?

You might like to think a little more about it. And I think you'll find
that Latin is used a whole heap more in the legal profession than in
    religion (nowadays anyway).
I did. In my own way. Or do you want me to dumb all my words down to
    the lowest possible common denominator?
Because I enjoy language. And because I (foolishly) expect people to be
capable of understanding what it meant.

I've never spent a penny on vet bills - all of my animals are expendable
and I've finished two of them off myself when they were looking a bit
    peaky.

    They're just animals, ffs.

Flushing your goldfish down the toilet is hardly a stressful experience
    though, is it?
