Though it does raise a use for it that I had on the GSX-R - I'd put it
on the fasteners/bolts etc as a corrosiion inhibitor.

It works well for that purpose - didn't wash off etc and once removed
(I never had a problem removing it) the finish was fine.

I had a problem with someone destroying an aerial on my car. Every
morning I'd come out to find it bent.

A generous coating of graphite-carrying chain spray grease (intended
to prevent it corroding, of course) revealed one set of finger/hand
prints the following morning, and no further attempts to re-model the
    aerial.

I imagined the perp instinctively wiping his hand on his clothes in
    the dark.

    Heh.

That's it. Seriously though, I don't want to give it away
because I think it's crap. Just spend 10 minutes cleaning
your chain with WD40 and then lubing it with 3-in-1
every couple of months and it'll look much nicer and
work a hell of a lot better too.

IME it traps *much* less crap than all the multitude of other aerosol
products, which isn't really suprising cos' it's nowhere as sticky as
them. Dunno how it compares to snotoiler, never tried them...

It's good as a supplimentary lube
Good god no. A bit of yoshi or silkolene lube (vv thin) followed by a
shot of shell. the shell is much less flingy and seems to keep the thin
stuff in place to do its stuff.

    Cor blimee our not wrong!
I'm pretty mean with the chain lube. Not 'cause I'm a porridgewog,
'cause the excess just flings off all over the bike.

Well yes I've used chain lube for this too and it seems to work very
nicely. BMW sell a clear protective wax in aerosol cans which is better
    though.
