Got an SMS the first day saying he had traveled up to somewhere in
Valencia, was too tired... and no further news.

Yeah, he's leaving tomorrow. He did say he was going to try and meet up with
    you, at a track day?

The **** called me two days ago. I was trying to make a siesta in a
hotel, after waking up at 5:00 am for taking an airplane and right
after a session of tapas and heavy drinking with my customer (there are
days in which I love consulting, no matter what my final state is).

I vaguely remember being asked in English how to get to Alcañiz,
someone speaking at a pace that at the moment I could not understand,
neither in English nor any other language known to me.

Hours later I got an SMS, he did it, he was there.

So I suppose that this week-end he'll be at our southern track day

    Thanks for the infos.

  7. Apparently, I speak too quickly. También, en español.
Yup. Lovely roads, but a stupid amount of traffic. Demasiados camiones.
But I fucked up and got there a day early. Demasiado temprano - es lo
    que me dice mi esposa...

  9. Seemed quite surreal, standing by a hot racetrack, looking up at
mountains that I was skiing on a few months ago.
