Car "sounds like motor cycle"

I'm looking at a new cage at the moment. The Honda Euro took my
attention with its 140 Kw motor, so I took it for a test drive. Not a
bad car to drive overall, but I'm still looking for an S15 200SX. :)

One of the reviews of the Honda Euro had a criticism of its motor, that
when it hit the upper rev ranges it started to sound like a motor cycle.
    That's a criticism? Poor bloke.

I thought I'd check out that aspect on the test drive. Towards 6k it
starts to get nice and runs well to 7k (redline) where I thought I'd
better stop the ascent as the sales bloke was about to hit the ejector
    seat button.

"I've never gone around that corner that fast", he said.
"This thing's got stability control on it, and if my Mazda can double
the posted speeds fairly comfortably I expect this to take it easily" I
    told him.

What these guys need is more motorbikes in their lives.

Try a 97-2001 Integra Tyre-R.... A real rush after 6000rpm all the way to
    8500!!

I took a 200SX out this afternoon. Made an offer, the guy is thinking for a day.
Very urgent power delivery with a bit of "right wrist equivalent". I liked it.
Heaps. Reminds me of my Suzuki. :)

For a while I was thinking about the Integra T/R, but the peaky motor isn't
really me. And the 200SX is about the sexiest looking thing around at the moment
that is affordable. At my age people will do anything for testosterone
    replacement therapy.
