    Which is why I suggested to use a bog-standard car audio amp.

    Plus, I don't think they ever did a Becker Mexico in positive earth,
    either.

    You would still have the issue of positive earth as I believe all the
    little car amps would be neg earth only.

    ah, missed that bit. Even so, it could probably be adapted. Or use an
    inverter.
