In heavy traffic I will always make room for bikers to get through and I
nearly always get a thx. Your probably right that the well behaved biker
doesn't get noticed and this is only made worse by a car drivers blinkered
    view.

I'm sorry, but at this point I have to interject with a long overdue, "What
the ****** drugs are you on?"

Ok, I'm not as road experienced as many here, but I'm out on my bike between
5 and 7 days a week. Have been every day for 5 years now. That's >2,000
journeys, around 20k miles a year. In all that time I have only *ever* come
across perhaps three or four riders with their full beam on "all the time".
In each of those cases, it was a "Power Ranger" with tinted lights, iridium
visor and bugger-all ability as a rider.

I strongly suspect that what you are taking as full beam is in fact your
failure to realise that a bike headlamp is positioned about 18 inches higher
than a car, and so a bike light dipped can look like full beam on a car.

Just my 2p worth, but I'm certain you're seeing something that isn't
    there[1]

[1] Unlike some car drivers who *don't* see what is there...

Binary Era () gurgled happily, sounding much like they were
    saying :
Neither. She was perfectly safe, because she was driving a safe vehicle
    within the speed limit.

It's not *all* bikers, but there's DEFINITELY some using beam in the
    daytime.

Clue for Blaney - if there's a bloody supernova filtering between lanes to
    your LEFT, at a steady speed, there's a better-than-evens chance it's full
    beam...

Or an import from a LHD country with an unconverted light badly adjusted
    (to cover another possible getout)

You appear to have snipped the bit where I state that isn't my personal
    view!

The probability of me being correct is a lot higher as I was actually
    there!

I can tell the difference because I can recognise things like height of
headlamp relative to position of car driver, aceleration of bike, bumps
in the road, distance of bike from car etc.

It does happen, you know and I know it.

I have to take my hat off to your observational skills then, they seem
to be so much better than everybody else's.
but not quite as often as you have convinced yourself it does.

If you could point me to the bit in your post I replied to that states that,
    it would be a help.

    This:

"Thats because your a biker, and in most people minds your a speed
infatuated menace that can't be trusted."

implies third party opinions, but this:

"This impression is perpetuated by so many bikers, for example, using full
    beam all the time."

implies that *you* believe that "so many bikers" use full beam "all the
    time" is a fact.

which I'm afraid is patently bollocks.

Nice reversal, using my example of how you are wrong to try and show you
    know you're right.

    You're not though.

It's the fridges you have to look out for. They hide unseen in the
road round blind bends - bastards, they are.

Maybe all these bikes allegedly using main beam are just giving you a
long flash which you are misinterpreting?

    Much heavier.
