The lack of air in them won't have helped at all, in terms of squaring them off. -- JackH Fazer 600 - Micra 1.3 (K11) BOTAFOT #110 D.Bot (University Of Speed) - BOTAFOF #29 - GHPOTHUF #29
I test rode a B12 the other week... nice new Bridgestones it had, and it has to be said, I found it distinctly uninspiring, in the cornering department - it needed wrestling into bends, and even then didn't seem all that fussed about taking the bend. Maybe I've been spoilt by too many flickable 600s. What he said. -- JackH Fazer 600 - Micra 1.3 (K11) BOTAFOT #110 D.Bot (University Of Speed) - BOTAFOF #29 - GHPOTHUF #29
I did this on the way to the BOSM on the back roads, the bike was like a pregnant hippo around the corners. Found just under 20PSI in the front :/ Cue Platy with the sidecar toolbox that contained a handy footpump .. My race micron boosted mid range nicely on the B6. Unfortunately the 'NOT FOR ROAD USE' emblazoned prominently across it didn't endear it at all to the Met Plod. But I sold it with the bike as the standard can had several worn off bits on it by the time I had finished lobbing it .. Cheers Paul.
If it's engraved on the can, just polish it out with a Dremel[1]. YKIMS. [1] This tip was originally suggested by Ginge, IIRC.
