Umm, generally anything on the main stage is going to be a bit old hat,
and I noticed you marked off System of a Down, so that rules out the
only really interesting act there.

If you like bad Led Zep, the Mars Volta and The Music might be your
thing, though I walked out of both cos they were fucking awful.
British Sea Power impressed me again, but they're better live than
in the studio. If you like the Mary Chain, you might like the Raveonettes
(there are clips on their web site)
Junior Senior are great, in a Danish kind of way, but maybe not up your
alley. As a rule of thumb, avoid most bands with names beginning with
'The'.

Electric Six beat The Darkness hands-down for the tongue-in-cheek rock
crown (High Voltage and Gay Bar) and the Cooper Temple Clause are alright.
