....are now Hom on a continental level. The event bands[1] at Europride
2003[2] were of the same spangly effect. Is this Cane's backdoor into
    the other side of pimping?

Oh, and although Girls Aloud aren't the greatest band in the aural world
at least two of them are *lovely* to look at, and it was highly
entertaining to see the stage-signers signing all the songs to the beat
    of the music.

[1] the type of thing you get that lets you wander in and out of an
    event.
[2] Guess who made the mistake of saying "Hello Sailor!" when three
    "sailors" walked into the bar?

  2. Did you really type "backdoor"?
They should be thrown in a skip and then deposited under several hundred
tons of rubbish in a land fill site. More manufactured "musical" crap.
And I bet you were suddenly very popular, Mr cutie chops! As you say it
was a mistake care to tell ukrm what happened then?

As appearing at a magistrates court in guildford! [1] We get all the
celebs in Guildford you know - as a certain custody sergeant said to
Mr Matthew Kelly - "Tonight Matthew you`re in cell 9"

[1] Actually next appearance is at Kingston Crown for some obscure
    reason

I had an interesting conversation with three other very pleasant chaps
and the glass collector before my gf came back from the toilet.

Heh. Live they're a different kettle of fish entirely.
    The same fish, mind.

Manitoba weren't bad either, though rather Cornelius-esque in
that they were a helluvalot heavier (two full drum kits as
opposed to a machine) live than on record.

have you actually heard the second Manitoba album? It's completely
different to the first one. I dislike it, actually - sounds vaguely
like the Stone Roses remixed by Moby or something.

Not yet, I'm hammering Kazaa at home (over a 28k modem, alas) to
    see what I should buy.

Rather than aim to see specific bands at festivals, I tend to use
them as a kind of aural chocolate box of delights, wandering from
stage to stage in a drunken haze waiting to be surprised by someone
    I don't know.

    That and the campsite toilets.

Nah, just an ageing rocker if that list is anything to go by.

I only knew 25 from main, 18 from R1 and 5 from the Carling. A few
    more now, mind.

  20. As downloading stuff from the interweb is Naughty, links tend
to get removed fairly fast. You'll need a file-sharer. I'd suggest
LimeWire; www.limewire.com. Download. Install. Type in search terms.
