can you identify this bike?

    Hi, I'm new to this newsgroup, been sent here by uk.motorcycles.rec, and am
    wondering if it is okay to attach a binaire/picture, to try and find out what
    type of motorcycle my grandad is sat on. The picture was taken in the 1920s, so
    thought I would ask if okay to post first, before sending it up.
