Reversing the car off the drive this morning and notice very yummy young
lady approaching riding a horse, I paused to allow her past and she
gives me a lovely smile and a wave, waving back as I slowly continue to
reverse I "just" touched the gate post. Bugger thinks I, and drive
forward, and pull the entire bumper off the back end :'( .... I is one
fucked off bunny ....... this is no doubt gonna be expensive.

I was distracted .. .honest ... but she did look excellent in those
    jodphers

Of course you can, without doubt the young lady in question was tempting
    you and distracting you.

Do let us know how you get on.

Google is excellent - opposite this posting is a series of links for

For some reason it always puts adverts for scrap metal merchants next to
    your posts.

    Update:

Motor factors have pattern bumper skins for BMW 5 Series saloons but not
for Tourings ... which means going cap in hand to BMW ... arrrgghh

BMW quoted <gulp> 339 quid inc VAT plus a 210 quid surcharge on the
return of the old bumper (?) F-E-C-K

At the moment an enquiry is in with

    http://www.partsgateway.co.uk/

    to source a used one.

The Ireland trip is looking dubious now :'(

It's probably just me but that sounds like a dodgy massage parlour
    service.

I can see you sitting in the reception, asking the above and winking
    in a lascivious manner.

Sueing might be inadvisable as reversing out of your driveway is an
offence. If she's from the horsey set she'll probably be able to afford
an expensive lawyer who'll use that against you.
