Can anyone identify this bike?

Not looked at the picture yet, but slopers were popular in the 20s.
IIRC BSA, Triumph, Aerial and several others had one or more slopers
    in their ranges.

If it's a Panther 3.5hp the barrel formed the front tube of the frame
and there should be visible bolts running from the head into the crank
    case.

  3. Ken, nothing displays your ignorance more than your lack of knowledge
    about the Spagthorpe machines.

You are forever doomed to be an outsider, snivelling at the door of the
true motorcycle cognoscenti, as you furiously wank over the centrespread
    in Gazooms Monthly.

If being an "insider" involves ownership of shite like GS850's and
XS650's then I am happy to remain at a distance!

You seem to enjoy making yourself look ridiculous. Are you bored with
pimping your nearest and dearest? Is masochism your latest pervy thrill? I
can't think of any other reason why you would keep coming back to get
yourself humiliated again and again. Anyway, back under your stone, you
    trolling little perve.
