If you get a chance to ask him, tell the tight fisted **** that he still
owes me a pint from when I beat him at pool.

  12. Ooh bitchy.

Mind you, as much as I liked Zep as a teenager, I never really rate
Page as a top-end guitarist. The real driving force behind Zep was
    John Paul Jones.

That said, I prefer Page to Clapton. He just bores me.

Just coz you have a big name doesn't mean you're the best. Perfect
example was a gig Friday night. Mountain Goats (US band) were playing
here in little old Tasmania. I shouted my girlfriend along as it was
her 30th birthday at midnight that night. We were at my work Xmas
drinkie-poos then headed to the gig, but missed the support - a
Melbourne band that I had seen once before and liked. About half way
through the well-known international act we got bored and went out the
back area of the venue and chatted for a while and then went home.

Then last night, at the last minute, the Melbourne band were still in
the state and I got an SMS saying thy were playing so we shot off to
the venue and it was a fucking great gig.

Don't care how big your name is, I want to hear good music. Not just
something I've heard on the radio before.

I've never really liked Clapton though, too boring by half. And what little
I heard of Cream put me right off too.
