Can a free gift cost £10?

    I was interested in teh offer in this months Bike magazine where you get
    free Hothands. However when checking the web site, if you want teh
    subscription without the Free gift it is £31.50, with the free gift it is
    £41? Can they do this, it doesn't seem like a free gift to me.

    Having said that it is still a decent deal so I will probably get it anyway,
    I would like it at the £31 price though.

    Conversely, I've always wanted to sign up for the National Geographic -
    the subscription is usually £29 or thereabouts. However, we had a leaflet
    sent to work, saying that you could subscribe for £19 and get a free
    fleece jacket with the National Geographic logo on it, so I did. Bargain,
    £10 off AND a free gift!
