The KOTL appears to keep a very low profile since heading West...

Oh and if this is the Cornish thing, having just been down there, if you
didn't have kids, did have a motorcycle and were otherwise at a loose end,
you'd be a nana to hang around a camp site when there are gorgeous
    roads/views/etc all around.

Obviously in August the caravan to road quotient would be a bit higher than
    in May mind you.

Very much so, but then there are plenty of other roads to play on that
have much better ratios. Hmmmmm, I could show you, but then I'd have to
    kill you.

I have a map, I can read it, plus a bike that's quite happy going down
    completely crappy lanes ;-)

Anyway, caravans aren't too bad for overtaking. The thing that get's me
annoyed is a string of cars where *none* of them leave any room to the car
in front, meaning you either have to overtake the lot, or start trying to
create gaps by trying to put your bike in the nonexistant gap - which
usually works, but still is not my preferred choice of manouever.

Does your map tell you where the traffic is? Coz if so, I want one.

Just keep clear of that last bit of A30 to Lands End, Newquay
    and the Eden Project, surely?

Popped in.... didn't see what I wanted, just heyooj palaces and backpacker
    stuff
But if I get the new job, I'll be based on Rob Lane, just off Haydock
    Island.

No, the whole A30 from Bodmin down is a nightmare as you run out of the
dual carraigeway onto a roundabout and then single carraigeway for a few
miles. But who the hell takes their bike onto a major road like that
    unless you have to?

Well, I'll be in Cornwall first week of July but I'll be taking
the car as I can't fit my mountain bike[1] in my panniers.

[1] Not that it's a 'biking' holiday, more that it'll be handy
for getting to the pub and back.

2nd and 2rd weeks of July for me but I've been told I'm not allowed to
take either bike on my honeymoon.
