As I'll be leaving next week, I'm trying to get some stuff to the
ursine one. I was hoping to use the tried and proven ukrmur. I know a
few peeps on here live close to Oxford, and may even be willing to pop
in to pick it up as I have no means of transport anymore. It's only a
pair of bike boots and a pair of gloves. So easily transported. Hmm any
volunteers for the first leg? [1]

[1] Desperately trying not to look at dwb.

Where would this leg involve? Potentially if we can get them to me prior to
Saturday I could pass them on at Donington (assuming I'm going - still being
worked out due to "outside" issues - if I do it'll be in the car so won't be
    a problem to carry it).

Where is "here" in terms of picking up said items?

  3. In uk.rec.motorcycles, PeterT amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom:
Surely you'll want to send them as a pair?

I am possibly going to be going to Donnington on Saturday, so could deal
    with transportation if necessary.

I will also be in the car, so drop me a line if you want to car-share.

This is the same 'no worse than most people get' illness we were
talking about a week and a half ago? I do hope you've seen a doctor in
    the meantime.

Not just bandaged, either: broken, and folded back under, *then*
    bandaged.

There was a Japanese guy at one place I worked. He was in Supplies, and
he'd a tendency to go missing. You wouldn't see him for ages, then suddenly
he'd pop up and yell "Supplies!"

Right, so it'll be. I wrap it up and arrange with dwb to get it up to
Donnington. From there you'll take possession and drop it off? Mucho ta.

Well anywhere in Oxford really. As I said, I just lost my last form of
motorised transport in my final preps for leaving the isle, so it's
difficult for me to come down. If that's OK with you. I assume on the
bike it'll only be a quick ride in. We could meet at the bike parking
spot at the martyr's memorial here:

Pretty much anytime suitable for you. Do you still have my mobile
number? 'Cause I lost yours. Alternatively e-mail at teriete @ the
    google mail thang.

As arranged, or will be arranged, further up or down, dwb is taking the
stuff to Donnington to pass on to Adie, from where I'm sure you can
retrieve it easily at some point or other.

Sorry, but no can do. I'm totally tied up wiv work things up to the
last day and just lost my transport anyway. ;-(

Would have been nice though. But as you said, who knows, you may be
over there next year and we can meet up.
