Calling all musicianos and vocalisti

I know UKRM is loaded with talented musically minded and somewhat vocal
people and this is your chance to express yourself. All you need to bring
with you is your talent. Of course you can also bring your instrument as
well.



There will be a lot of publicity and possibly a few agents on hand so if you
want to get noticed come to "Jamming at the Ace" on July 15th starting at
7:00pm until 10:30pm.

I'll be using my PA with a mixing desk with FX. A few amps. I'll also be
bringing my keyboards and a few guitars. There will also be a few air
guitars you can use.

Cool, I like them Orange things. I've just bought a 1960's 15 Watt Selmer
amp. It sounds great.

Let me put it this way:- Some years ago, following a family meeting I
was prohibited from singing in the house at any time by 4 votes to 1.

I have just told My Baby about this thread and asked her and she said,
in a very mumsy comforting non confrontational sort of voice, "putting
it as nicely as I can Dad, no."

 

I just got myself a Gibson J-45 and that's PROPER fucking awesome. It's even
better than me piano.

I'm still hundreds of miles away thought and I'm not interested in talent
scouts anyway.

I think all muso's involved in this froop should turn up wiv an instrument
at the next *oSM though.

It's also BMF day. I'm not sure of the quality of the people we get but
other nights I do attract a good mix.
