Isn't it a bit xenophobic of the krauts who run the BMW WSB teams to oust
any non German nationals including Tardozzi and even Troy Corser's crew
    chief?

I'm not sure, (being a non PC [1], but wouldn't that be regarded as racial
discrimination which is pretty illegal these days?

No. It's been well documented that Tardozzi has not got on with the 2
bosses from BMW. They don't seem to like anyone with a contrary opinion
which just happens to be anyone who has experience inside a race team. I
bet no contractual terms were breached when ejecting the gobby outsiders.
They will surround themselves with yes men and continue with their egoistic
fantasy about producing a world beating superbike until some accountant in
Bavaria pulls the plug. Such egotism is not exactly rare in a motor racing
    paddock...

I can undestand them wanting rid of a gobby twat, but on t' news it was
quite specific about them wanting rid of all non German nationals.
Agreed, but that doesn't account for the new article.

    @newsfe08.ams2:

is there an online source for that or was it something said by a
    commentator on TV?

If they said they were taking all R&D in house then that would be fine. If
they said they are sacking people due to their nationality then they could
    have a problem.

On Sunday. IIRC it was Jack Burnicle. I can't find owt online to back it up
    though.
    No mention of R&D.
That was certainly what was said. Burnicle seemed quite taken aback that
Troy Corser's crew chief was being let go simply because he wasn't German.
Mind you, there's nothing to say that Burnicle was given the correct info.
I'm sure that time will tell though.
