Indian ones this time. I just spoke to "John" the manager. Phones direct is who they're working for apparently, I've been called by them about 3 times a week for the past 5 weeks, each time I've politely asked to be removed from their database. They seem to be using an auto-dialler. He was most surprised when I explained what he was doing was illegal and contravened the telephone preference service, but wouldn't give me his company phone number. Any suggestions how I could take this forward and make someone feel my pain? I'd considered a letter to the MD of Phones Direct but a google search doesn't seem to turn up an exact match. Thoughts?
