It's a great track and I didn't fall off :) After the sighting laps my mate and I were both thinking "fook" but after getting into it it's great in a not being able to see where you're supposed to go, off camber kind of way. Only a couple of scary moments that were self induced; through Hall Bends I had too much speed in the righthander and caught my left foot and peg on the tarmac trying to get the bike through the following left which then put me off line for the right before the hairpin. I missed the grass on the entry to the hairpin by a gnats whisker and spent the rest of that lap trying to coax the seat cover out from between my butt cheeks. The second was approaching the new chicane after Mansfields, I managed to downshift from 4th to 2nd locking the backwheel. Took me by suprise as I was expecting some gentle engine braking in 3rd not a bunny hopping rear end. The mountain is a bit intimidating. No one mentioned the slight crest near the top that brings the front wheel up before you even get over the top and can see where you're going, that was fun :) Definately on my very short(1) will do again list. (1) it's one of two that I've done now.
