I'm off to Belfast to pick my bike up. See you tomorrow, if I'm in any fit state to type.
have a couple of pints of Guinness in The Crown - that'd be my recco. if you're in a fit state to type, you've missed out on a great night.
In uk.rec.motorcycles, Lozzo amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom: Piece of piss. I did London to Coleraine to London in a few[1] hours on a 400. [1] More like a day.
Good luck with it. I've just had an idea about your old 9R braking problem.. bit too late though init?

It may be Bandit specific, but... I noticed that my Bandit brakes, as well as having anti squeal shims, they come with these thermal insulating plates that fit in between the shim and the back of the pad. Some people throw these things away with the pads sometimes [1]. Is it at all possible that the extreme heat of high speed braking is conducting through the pad, and heats up the pistons to such an extent as to boil the fluid? Boiled fluid has the effect of bringing the lever back to the bar in extreme cases. [1]I'm not saying that you have, or did..
The Racing Snake has survived 911 dicing and made the Dublin ferry with 90 minutes to spare. It's a big boat but the loading ramp may not be wide enough to accommodate his grin. Smart boy that, he sussed one important reason I like it here inside 90 minutes. Pip, perk the coffee around midnight. 'Hog
Eh ? I'm fecked if i'm getting the espresso pot on every time I want a coffee. That being said, I very very seldom drink instant. I picked up one of these last time I went to Canada. http://www.coffee-maker-store.com/item/1961.php They pull the grounds out of the pot rather than letting them fester in the bottom of the coffee pot. Well recommended & much better than those crappy Bodums. Cheers Paul.
