Of course I'm now so skint I don't know if I can afford the petrol, but
first impressions (i.e. no more than 5000rpm) indicate I have spent roughly
what a new R6 costs on a 20 year old two stroke that now has the low down
commuting ability of a CB500..... As long as it has the top-end ability of
said R6 I could have bought then all will be well... Ish.[1]

[1]At 5000rpm it's doing 75mph-ish. The std redline is a tad over 10,000.
The new pipes are supposed to allow the bike to rev (relatively) safely over
11,000 and if the motor is as strong at the top end as it is *out* of the
power then an indicated 155-165 should be in order.... On BT 45 crossplies.
With a 110/90-17 rear. And sliding calipers on discs the size of rich tea
biscuits (and with the same stopping power).... Now where's that life
insurance policy.....

The rear caliper is a single piston sliding type, not a 6 pot.

How would you be able top tell if you alway drop me at the first

coordination. Oldbloke stands a decent chance now, and I'm not looking
forward to a ride-out with Ginge any time soon.
