Suzuki, innit. Once you get a good layer of corrosion built up, it
    all looks a lot better.

Bbbut it would only cost about a tenner per bike to make it stop.

To be honest, I was expecting a lot worse after the opening salvo of
What warranty do you get with a 2001gsxr? and is it transferable?
ie if I buy a <3yo bike with nitriding coming off the forks, could I get it
    fixed under warrantee ?

    TIA

    These men speak the truth.

The (admittedly damaged) bike in my sig has been outside under a cover in
Belfast since May. Not a spot of rust.

I've heard that nesting Leprechauns can be a problem though.

Maybe that black fork coating weighs a lot more than the gold stuff.

Is a Honda badge that expensive?

I wonder if I used a felt tip pen and wrote Onda on my Gixer, would it
    work?

ITYF that the Corrosion Pixies, those rarely-sighted but well-known
dispensers of Ginger Anodising, will happily ignore felt tip pen
scrawls. Especially those that have been written with a Welsh accent,
wobbly due to the writer teetering on a step ladder and stretching up
    to reach the tank ...

    Stainless exhaust valve pipe, colours.
    Sell it private.
Buy the GSXR now. Flog the ZX6 in march...
