Well, I'm using news-text.blueyonder.co.uk, as I have for several years.
Obviously VM are rebranding my wisdoms. I haven't actually had any problems
to speak of in that time.

He was trying to get it de-ABSed, get all the Evo crap taken out, and the
thing converted to conventional brakes. His dealer has been asking BMW for
advice about making the brake lights come on without chopping into the loom
and bodging it. BMW asked why David wanted to remove the unreliable
high-tech brakes, and got a fairly direct answer, ie 2 fucked pumps after 30
seconds of operation. I understand that they've recommended fitting another
new pump and volunteered help with the cost.

Fortunately, my bike predates EVO brakes. Mine work just fine as normal
hydraulic brakes. Red LEDs flash on the dash but I've got used to ignoring
    the fuckers.

  4. Which Citroen?

My C4 speedo is bang on according to GPS, and has taken a bit of getting
used to as you say. Mine came with cruise though, not that I use it
much. I'm waiting for all the electronic stuff to stop working but it's
been faultless so far (nearly 2 years and 25k). Not trusting it past the
    warranty though.

    C2 VTS
Mine is 18 months old. I was doing 1k a month then changed jobs with has a
shorter commute. So it's only just clicked over 10k.

Last April I noticed an oil leak. They have had it 3 times to try to fix
it. I haven't done many miles since they returned it a couple of weeks ago.
There seems to be a bit of oozing still. I think it must have a Ben Sales
    style flaw in the block.

Paging Ben: I know you changed bikes. Did you get adequate compensation for
    the incontinent Kwak?

Before I changed it I got a complete new top end for the engine fitted
free of charge and some tyres thrown in for good measure.

I didn't even ride it away from that work because I part-ex'd it
against the GSXR and got a very good price. I only lost 700 quid on
it which isn't bad for a year's depreciation. I also got more than a
grand off list price of the GSXR.

All in all, I was quite happy with how the dealer handled it all.
Drayton Croft of Hinckley in case anyone is interested.

cheers - I need to do a few more miles in the C2 just to verify it's
still leaking before giving them a final chance to fix it.

Richard the gaffer seems like a decent chap and did his best to get
the problems sorted with what seemed like little help from Kawasaki.
