Butter as lubricant

Thinking about all the possible emergency substitutes for regular motor
oil, I googled lubricants and stumbled across a post about two women
that drove a car across the U.S. fueled by cooking oil, and that led me
    to this strange quote.

"Feeling sickened and powerless, Tom and I went to a screening of Last
Tango in Paris but had to walk out in the middle: With the bombing on
our minds, anal copulation with butter didn't sit well." - Jane Fonda,
explaining hers and Tom Hayden's reaction to renewed bombing of North
Vietnam in December 1972 in "My Life So Far" (page 339).

I figured that needs a better subtitle or caption than "butter as
lubricant", and I like "bombs vs. butter", or "buttering up the
    opposition".

Lyndon Johnson had a "guns and butter" policy. Fonda and Hayden's was
    "bombs not butter"?

Can bikers give a good subtitle to this Jane Fonda quote?

I wonder if she was sickened by the millions that died in the power
vacuum after the libs forced the US out of 'Nam, or if her sense of
humanity extended that far. The silence is deafening.

As far as butter a lube goes maybe she can incorporate it into the
Vagina Monologues that she's been backing. Butter is food and gets
no closer to my bike than my stomach. Margarine, however, is a
    different story.

Wonder if we should have kept our promises to the Viets, letting them have
    their country back after WW2........

None of it would have occurred at all..........

But, nooooooooooooooooooooooooo, we cut the country in half...installed a
puppet govt in the south promising elections and then reneged on those
promises.......then propped up one crooked regime after another with our
armed forces and the blood of our young men.

As usual the power brokers and the "defense" industry perpetuated a war
which made them rich beyond their wildest dreams.....and killed millions in
    the process.

And yes, I'm a Vietnam Veteran.

Problem is that the Communists weren't going to let them have their
    own country back.

I would certainly move if I believed in a country that evil but the
reality at the time was that communism was a real threat and
on the move. It's now known with unsealed old USSR documents
they were close to throwing in the towel on Vietnem but they had
an ally in the leftist movement in the US.

    Thank you for your service.

And why is that OUR problem????? The communists were the only organized
group in the country to resist the Japanese during WW2, and succesfully
kicked the French's ass out of the country in the early 50's. The Viets have
been fighting for their own independence for several hundred years.

Communism in Europe and the Soviet Union collapsed under it's own weight,
have you checked out China lately.......capitalism is a rising tide.

Tip#1 - It was none of our fucking business.

Great. Another blind Isolationist. I guess that we made a big mistake

The avowed goal of International Communism (ans Socialism for that
matter) is Global Domination. If you're in favor of that just say so.
