  3. Oh I'd say in a good way. I saw it off in the distance waiting for
lights to clear. The dual headlights made me wonder what it was - it
then roared past - nice noise and good street presence. Assuming they
handle - and most tests say they do - then I think Triumph are going to
    be very busy.

There was one parked up outside the London Transport Museum earlier. A
gaggle of people were having a look. It's so strange close up. There
was an XJR 1300 with that weird colour changing paint and a green
baglux tank cover round the corner as well. I wouldn't want either of
them but they both had something compelling about them. I'd like to be
taller and stronger so I could at least have a bimble in a car park on
    them.

The Monster S4R has the 916 motor in it: 117 bhp.

Basically, I've been thinking that at some point in my "biking career"
I should own a Ducati, and since I definitely don't want another faired
sportsbike to replace the 'blade, that leaves the Monster. I've also
never owned a big v-twin, and quite fancy one.
Up until the weekend, I had been thinking about buying a new bike, to
replace the 'blade when I sell it - new pre-reg 04 Monsters are
seriously cheap. The MV and Bellini equivalents are seriously not.

In any case, I've decided instead to buy an older Monster, so that if I
find myself agreeing with your position and want to sell it, I'll
minimise the amount of dosh lost on the experiment.

  19. It's freudians like that which sometimes make me think it'd be better
to go off for a bit and have some real life rather than this place....
