... but not impossible

I have a number of possibilities as my Frankfurt weapon of choice.

[A] MZ Trophy, 250cc although it does seem to have been granted an
exemption on the grounds it's 32 years old. But it's still a 250 capable
of a rip snorting 75 mph. Not really in the spirit of things.

MZ Supa 5 outfit, suitably inappropriate and could double as a
support vehicle. Unlikely as it's still not joined together, I haven't
got all the brackets and I've borrowed its engine for another bike.

[C] The current favourite is this former spares machine MZ TS 150, 1979
vintage. With a total budget of £100 (of which £85 remains to be
lavished on it), could prove to be difficult.

I spent the best part of 2 hours retrieving it from the depths of the
lockup, so I'm going to have to do it now ... by 24th January '04.

Say what you like about ukrmers but there is no doubt that we are

Its an arbitrary date to give me a deadline to work to.

.... and there's the need to do some proving mileage especially as I don't
    think its run since 1986.

Thing is, this is the one that *you* really want to take. There's no
problem with the 250 (as it's you). But you're dead keen to give this
    thing a go.
Christ, it's *awful*. You'll be the toast of Frankfurt, I've no doubt.
    All the best, strange lad.

That's full on, Class-A, rip snorting lunacy. Use that one.

I think the banama-shaped rear mudguard is the funniest bit.

I had 68 today. Then I ran out of road and started wishing that it had
    brakes.

It was removed to get it to fit in the space between a couple of GS 550's.

    Oh yes...

But I'm away at the moment so that pleasure will have to wait a few days.
